Well, this morning at 3 am her temp was still up (99.7) however by 9:45 am this morning she had dropped to 98.5 so ... it looks like we will be seeing the Choice x Yummy offspring by tomorrow morning (how'd I KNOW she'd shoot to have em during the middle of the night?). So far she's doing fine (eating her breakfast right now in fact), just very uncomfortable and obviously stuffed to the gills. She didn't sleep well last night, and she's giving me that "will this EVER end" glare.

As of 9:34 pm no news LOL lots of discomfort, restlessness but she's trying to nap and relax. Took her for a walk early this afternoon, and although she was very slow, she seemed to enjoy it and visiting with the neighbors (they always make all over my dogs).

So ... status quo at this point.

Here in California, have been watching Yummy all day on Mary's live cam (at work had to sneak in peeks).

Hopefully, tomorrow we can see all the delicious, yummy Yummy puppies.

8:37 a.m., temp 99.3 (it did go up to 99.7 last night/this morning), breakfast was offered, she ate a few bites then buried it. getting closer.

Ok folks, LInda Stone is gonna be my email secretary cuz I think things are gonna start rolling sooner than later. Yummy has had a long day of REST but has started doing the periodic panting so chances are she is just hitting stage 2 labor or very close to it. She's pacing right now, so I'm gonna let her do what she feels is right but chances are I may not be able to email all of you (or anyone) soon. I am sending Linda my list of email addies to send any updates to.

I just got settled and checked the live stream. No puppies yet. Yummy is holding out on us! Poor Mary - I hope you can get some sleep tonight.

It sounds as though it was just as well that I gave up watching & went to bed last night (it is 7.00a.m. here now).

Have not seen Yummy on camera all morning. Since around 5AM. Any news. I was worried at how big she was.

I pray that all is well for Yummy. I justed logged into the webcam and no Yummy in the box. If anyone knows how things are going, please let us know.

I gave poor Mary kind of a hard time yesterday.

I really didn't think Yummy was very close to whelping. She's certainly not overdue. So hopefully, they are just taking a nice long nap together. Both of them probably can use some sleep.

OK, it's 10:50 a.m. CST, making it 11:50 a.m. Yummy time.
The live cam is on again, and the Yummster is on a potty break. She's taking her sweet time, and making her mom crazy.

Thank you Sally for posting for me, MUCH appreciated, thank you to each of you who sent good thoughts/energy and were hoping all was well. you all rock! Everything was fine but I finally had to sleep at 5 this morning so I let Yum lay with me on the chair (that's like having to share a twin bed with an elephant!), she gave up and laid in the dog bed on the other side of the chair after a bit. That's why no one could see her, I apologize for not at least putting a note up but my eyes couldn't focus at that point.

So today ... same same and more of the same. She DID eat however, but not much, about a half cup of food. She has been staying hydrated so that's good. Eyes are VERY bright (evil glints periodically but that's to be expected), her pups are still moving. Her temp at 5 am was 99.3, at 12:15 pm it was 98.8 so ... is THIS the drop LOL we'll know later if she has pups by noon tomorrow LOL

I'm trying VERY VERY hard to just take things easy, relax and not stress but it is more difficult with knowing her dam had to be sectioned and having lost a whole litter just days after Yummy was born when the vet wouldn't listen and do an emergency section when I asked til it was too late. I have paranoia issues but I'm doing my best to just chill. Her first 63rd day isn't til Saturday so, breathe mary breathe LOL

Karen, I ENJOYED you being in the chat room yesterday, please don't worry at all you didn't give me a hard time in my opinion. You did state your feelings/thoughts and in a polite and honest manner - OMG how dare you be honest with me LOL, I expect that so there was no problem at all. Part of why I like you is because you don't beat around the bush or bs, those are good traits and I wish everyone was like that.

Ok so ... I think I shall sneak off and get some ME time (shower) while Yummy is taking a nap. Gotta do it when the girl allows

So I'm hoping and praying at this point something happens soon. I wasn't so edgy til this morning and now I'm a wreck. Combine the temp drops, the nesting 2 days ago and panting, then nothing, then the temp up then drop again. Mix that in a bowl and add a lost litter 3 1/2 years ago and pop it in the oven and in minutes you get a Messofamary.

She herself is just laying around, not any outward signs of stress. Puppies are still moving but much less which usually just means we're getting close. Her first official day 63 is tomorrow and we did three breedings which puts her last 63rd day on Tuesday of next week. I keep telling myself all this to try to calm myself LOL but it's not seeming to work real well

So at this point I'm just doin a lotta hoping and praying that all things will be evident and smooth sailing.

Anyone have a butterfly net to catch the ones fluttering in my gut?
