It's been a while since there was a thread on this topic...and I've been waffling back and forth on getting a tattoo done myself. I have a beautiful Celtic sighthound design in mind, but I want to see YOUR tattoos too!
So, show us your ink, dog related or otherwise. =)
this is a copy of the tat on my right hip.it is my cain, full name cocaine the silky coated waterbed hound,he was all white except for his nose and eyes and very hyper hence the name.his call name in celtic, the symbol for the circle of the dog and the symbol of our promotions co.called the anch earth.
No dog tats but I do have a cat on my shoulder! Got it done more than twenty years ago, so it's a bit faded...but here's my sweet little Meezer, snoozing away. (You have to be a contortionist to take pictures of your own tat, BTW....)
cupcake can't wait to see ur tat.when i had my'n done i had the guy make a copy of the design and i looked at it for a couple months befor having it done it took 3 hours and cost a bit more then most cause it was custom,i made several more copies and carrie one in the view window of my checkbook in the train case i use for a travel makeup case and the dogs suitecase has a copy on the front so i can find it fast.
I've always fancied getting a small tattoo but have never found an image that I would be happy carrying around for life. I'm a huge Queens of the Stone Age fan and have often considered getting their Circle Q logo done.
My Whippet(s): "Flynn", Ch Tivio N Windigo In Like Flynn retired from "show business" at age 4 and joined us in May, 2009. It is a joy to have this handsome, well mannered athlete join us as a companion dog. We are now safe from all squirrels, errant city cats and sage bunnies!
Love all the sighthound tats! I've always thought about getting one but I'm so picky about design that I don't know what to settle on or where to put it. I would never be able do the spider. They creep me out too much but they all look very well done.
My Whippet(s): Dexter is a two year old whippet. He loves playing soccer, frisbee, chasing anything and everything, swimming and sleeping. He hates cold weather, scary vaccum cleaners, children and maintenance men.
