Peanut and my new fishing partner Cooper he's not a whippet as you all will no whippets aren't suited for spending time on the lake side for a couple of day's in a bivvy

Peanut is not a peanut anymore. He's big! :romance-inlove: Love his new little playmate, Cooper! :romance-inlove:
That beautiful rug makes a perfect background for those two!

Richard, Lucky you! that is so great that you are getting an 18 month old boy. We got an 11 month old boy, Enzo, from a show home (Enzo did not prove to be a contender as he did not have 'good movement in the ring') a year ago and he is such a wonderful pup - well mannered (as your new boy is!) - walks so nicely on leash, a great eater, happily jumps into the tub at bath time and stands stock still while being lathered and pampered. Your pack is growing! What fun!

Unfortunately the breeder that we bought peanut from has decided to give the 18 month old whippet another chance to breed she has a girl in season shortly so if digits still not interested in her when she's in season then we'll be lucky to have him hopefully

Well, I hope this dog is an outstanding show dog, racer or has some other exceptional attributes (and has been fully health tested), and that is why the breeder is so keen to use him as a stud! But it will be interesting to see how it works out. Keep us posted!

The boy's
Hi just a update on peanut he is 17 months old Now and he is a very shy and a small hound compared to Marley and peanut is home bird its sometimes a challenge to get him to stand up to get ready for his walk its quite funny to see him trying to pretend to be sleeping on the sofa when he knows its walking times he go's floppy and won't stand up to get ready to go outside he's always looking for short cuts back home unlike Marley he would walk all day long if he could

Thanks for the update, and for the reminder that every dog one of them is different, with likes and dislikes and endearing personalities. Good luck on getting your new boy.

Unfortunately the breeder has decided to keep the boy she offered us as he wasn't keen on being a stud dog the breeder has had some of his sperm frozen im unsure how the vet collected it but she has used some and has a bitch pregnant so we are going to have one of the pups the mother is a lilac and the father's black and white dog the pups should be lovely

What a cute photo! Yes, it is interesting how different their personalities can be; we have one who definitely would prefer to hang out at home too.

Exciting that you will be adding another, though sorry you're not getting the one you thought you were. I hope he is an outstanding dog in some way since the breeder has gone to such great lengths to use him (and curious what color the mother is as lilac is not a recognized color in Whippets, maybe she is blue?).
