Postby Richard » Sun Apr 22, 2018 11:49 am

Hi I’m getting a third male and wondered if this will cause any problems as two off them will be intact. Thank you

We have four, two intact and two not. I think it is more about the dogs' personalities than gender or reproductive status, but you do have to keep an eye on them and nip any problems in the bud, with any group of dogs. JMO.

We had three intact males and another to stay for holidays and rarely had any trouble.

No major problems with our three males: 13.5 yrs (neutered), almost 6 yrs (neutered) and 2 yrs (intact). Food guarding is the only issue. If one gets too close or puts his nose in another bowl during meals, they'll briefly scuffle but I'm usually nearby to referee.
